The Bulls & Bears Charity Trophy Golf Day is a high profile event and this year's was no exception. The Golf Day was held at The Lakes Golf Club on Thursday 15th March 2012 and was a very successful day with teams from the financial market and other associate industries enjoying the competition day.
The Heart Reserach Institute is very grateful for being nominated as the beneficiary of this event, and the money raised through The Bulls & Bears Trophy Charity Golf Day will to go towards funding a fellowship for a young emerging scientist to participate in a “state–of-the art” research training program at The Heart Research Institute, giving them the opportunity to train in a world-class Science for Living Research facility. This will act as a springboard for them to embark on an international scientific career, which will involve working in collaboration with scientists in other highly regarded research laboratories, both nationally and internationally.
