HRI Scientist wins Queen's Birthday Honour

Congratulations to Professor Annemarie Hennessy – a recipient in The Queen’s Birthday 2015 Honours List.

Professor Hennessey was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for “significant service to tertiary education and medical research”.

That research particularly covers the area of clinical hypertension and maternal health. Annemarie heads our Vascular Immunology Group that has made several major discoveries about the relationship between high blood pressure in pregnancy and the risk of heart disease later in life.
