Abstract and competition submissions
If you are registering as an EMCR, as part of your registration you can:
Submit abstracts for EMCR Flash Talks
- Abstracts must be max 300 words
Submit abstracts for Rising Star Award
To be considered you must be a maximum of 5 years post PhD (PhD students may apply). To apply for the Rising Star Award, EMCRs must submit the following:
- Abstract (max 300 words)
- One-page CV
- Cover letter describing research discoveries and contribution that these have made to the field
Enter the EMCR Graphical Abstract competition
- Submissions must be limited to an A4 page, 300dpi, preferred file as JPG, PNG
Submission categories:
- A widely known scientific concept
- A common experimental protocol
- An explanation of a disease that could be used for patient education
Enter the EMCR Art in Science competition
- Submissions must be limited to an A4 page, 300dpi, preferred file as JPG, PNG
- Entries should include a short, lay description of the artwork, suitable to be understood by a high school student (<50 words). The name/s and affiliation of the author should be included in the description of the artwork
