Meet the team
Eleven talented undergraduates from around Australia recently received inaugural Winter Scholarships at the HRI.

These promising students were given the opportunity to personally experience life at a world-class research institute and be mentored by leading scientists from various HRI research groups.

HRI researchers mentor talented students from New Zealand

HRI has welcomed eight talented researchers from New Zealand to take part in a summer scholarship at the HRI. Launched in December 2016, the 8-week scholarship provided high-achieving and promising Kiwi students the opportunity to work on a medical research project directly related to cardiovascular disease, expand on their skills and knowledge and be mentored in a world-class research institute.
