Biography

Bella Wooldridge is a final-year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Technology Sydney, currently undertaking her capstone (Honours) research within the Cardiovascular Regeneration Group at the Heart Research Institute under the supervision of Associate Professor Carmine Gentile.

Her research focuses on cardiovascular tissue engineering, by developing pre-vascularised cardiac constructs using the advanced biofabrication technique of DLP 3D printing.

Bella has developed skills in experimental design, cell culture, microfluidics and biomedical data analysis, and is particularly interested in translating regenerative technologies into therapies for cardiovascular disease.
